Gallery Canvas (Fine Art Printing)
Canvas prints are a great option for larger images offering a clear and intimate presentation without glass between your printed artwork and your audience. We use Epson Exhibition Matte canvas, archival pigment inks, and Epson fine art printers for all of our wide format art printing. After the printing is done the canvas is coated with a archival varnish to protect them from fading with time. Gallery Canvas gives you a musem quality replication with a contemporary look.
STRETCHER BARS
We offer you the choice of rolled canvas (delevered loose in a tube) or we can stretch your finished print and wrap the edges to conceal the stretcher bars in an elegant gallery-style wrapped canvas. The edges of your image are carefully extended to conceal the sides of the stretcher bars. This gives you several choices on the finishing of your project.
Our professional stretched canvas prints are available in 2 depths: For small canvas prints or those intended for a floater frame, .75″ is usually ideal. For large canvas prints that will hang without any additional framing, 1.5″ depth yields archival strength and fabulous results. All prints over 16x20 will automatically get bracer bars to reinforce the strength of the frame. We have found that smaller prints do not need them.

- We extend the canvas to cover the bars - Giving you the choice of:
- White, Black, Mirroring your image, or Extending your Art.
If you chose to extend your own art - YOU need to provide a file that is 2-4in larger than the finished size. For example an 18x24 on 1.75in stretcher bars should be sized at 22x28.
SCANNING
We offer high quality scanning services at our Austin print shop. Our scanner can scan up to 24x36, but if you have bigger originals we have a professional photo booth for archiving projects. For out of state clients, we recommend getting your originals scanned at a local blueprint shop. If one is not available or convenient to you, you can ship us your original art work and we will ship it back with your order.
