Mindzai Gives: Psychedelic Medicine, A Free Show!
We love giving back, and we especially love partnering up with our longtime clients for a good cause! Our friends at Barracuda (with the help of some other great organizations listed below) are putting together a fantastic psychedelia showcase, to benefit The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), an organization supporting psychedelic and marijuana research since 1986. This event is FREE, and will be hosted at Barracuda on Friday, February 2nd.
Founded in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana. A recent Forbes article cited the organization for great fundraising and educational breakthroughs. The non-profit organization has reached an agreement with the FDA under the Special Protocol Assessment Process for the design of two Phase 3 trials for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for patients with severe PTSD in the near future.
The showcase will feature music by Megafauna, The Clouds are Ghosts, The Human Circuit, Palm Daze, and Transit Method, plus DJ sets by Fitnez + Hellth. Monetary donations for MAPS will be accepted onsite and are encouraged! We are so happy to help sponsor this event, and other sponsors include Pull String Events, BELL EPIC, Ovrld, Down the Rabbit Hole Podcast, and the Austin Psychedelic Society.
