What’s Not to Love? – Young Blood Boutique & Gallery
Uncategorized January 27th. 2012, 8:11pmNestled in the Highland Row shopping strip near the intersection of North and North Highland, our good friends at Young Blood Boutique & Gallery are doing their part to keep the art scene alive. Home to numerous hand-made trinkets, crafts and clothing items, Young Blood is the go-to spot if you’re looking for something truly unique- and actually cool! Most of their wares are locally made too, and it feels great to support fellow Georgians and local artists!
Yet another reason to visit Young Blood is for one of their frequent art shows. Usually featuring a large collection of Atlanta-based artists, it’s a nice way to check out a large portion of what our local scene has to offer in one night.
Their next show is a collaborative effort featuring new works from more than 30 local Atlanta artists. Each artist was instructed to design a work incorporating the title of the show, What’s Not to Love, in his or her own unique way. The show kicks off February 4 at 7 p.m.
A beacon of camaraderie in Atlanta’s tight knit art community, the kind folks at Young Blood Gallery & Boutique have earned our deepest respect and gratitude. It’s businesses like these that give Atlanta its charm. We’re proud to support them, and you should too!
