Giclée Printing - Ships in 5-7 Business Days
The highest quality fine art reproduction available today. It is a process that uses a 12 color Inkjet printer, acid-free papers, and pigment-based archival inks. Mindzai Creative offers several different media substrates that are perfect for many different types of art. We print on rolls up to 5 ft wide and 100ft long. Giclée printing is priced per square foot, and includes color matching in the price. The best way to provide the most accurate reproductions is for clients to mail the original artwork to our Austin office where these products are printed. If this is not an option for you, the second best way to order giclée prints is to get a high-quality scan and email us the file. Mounting and stretched canvas available upon request. Please read below for a description of the different media types and giclée prints we offer.
Giclée Media Paper Types
- Art Rags - Watercolor, German Etching, and Velvet Rag available. Perfect for Tattoo flash, paintings, and Fine Art reproduction.
Light weight - Hahnemuhle Albrecht Durer Watercolor - Single side coated, traditional fine art media. The textured matte surface of this 210 gsm mould-made paper is designed for high-quality digital fine art reproduction.
Heavy weight - Hahnemuhle Etching Paper - This is a 310 gsm textured mould-made, acid-free water color paper with the smoothest surface in the range. It’s ideal for images that are highly detailed and require photographic quality.
Heavy weight - Fine Touch Cotton Rag - This "peach fuzz," fine art cotton rag produces Museum-quality prints. The 100% cotton base ensures a lifetime of enjoyment, without the risk of yellowing.
Our Thickest Paper - Velvet Rag 315 gsm - 100% cotton rag base, with a smooth velvet (or etching like) surface. This paper is designed to meet the highest printing standards needed for museum quality and limited edition prints.
- Photo Reprographic – Satin photo paper for reproducing photography.
Photo Satin – 10 MIL, 260 gsm *Luster finish *Water and smudge resistant *Excellent high definition color output *Superb for premium photo reproduction.
A 260gsm luster finish photo paper with a microporous coating. It has very good hand-ability due to its heavy weight structure and is recommended for premium photographic printing. Instant-dry, microporous inkjet coating resists smudges and fingerprints during handling and doesn't require a lot of extra drying time. Satin Photo Paper features an improved white point for greater contrast and a wider color gamut. The satin finish imparts a more natural look to images that feature facial close-ups and minimizes the risk of glare on prints that will be displayed under bright lights.

Gallery Canvas – *Acid-free, pH-neutral coating and high white point for consistent, accurate colors *Water-resistant cotton matte blend for greater durability and ease in stretching *Heavyweight (400 gsm) *Please note, this is NOT mounted. Mounted canvas is a custom quote. These are flat prints, made on our canvas stock.

- Files must be 300dpi Tiff files in RGB format
- Include .25in bleed if you want to trim to the art
- Include .5in borders if you want white borders around your art
- If you art is a custom size, it will fall into the next largest print size
- Include any special instructions about sizing & cutting in the comments section
- If your print file is a scan of original artwork, please upload a digital photo of your original painting. This will help us ensure that the prints are acceptable before we print and ship the entire order
Scanning your originals - We suggest you go to your local copy shop or blue print company and get the highest quality scan of your artwork. Scans must be at least 300dpi and saved as a TIFF in CMYK format with LZW Compression. If this option is not available, a Jpeg or PDF file will work too. Please open your scans and make sure they look correct, sized right, and cleaned up around the borders. From there, just email or upload your graphics with your order and we will do the rest. If you cannot get your original scanned, you can mail it to our Austin location and we will scan, clean up, and size your artwork for printing for a $25 fee per original.
